In addition, we provide a number of additional services such as training help, childcare support and debt and money advice.

We are also committed to helping new and existing businesses in North Lanarkshire through a coordinated package of advice, recruitment and financial support.

South Lanarkshire Works 4 U (SLW4U) is the employability skills pipeline managed by South Lanarkshire Council’s, Finance and Corporate Resources Employability Team.

SLW4U activity has proved to be a catalyst for new service development for unemployed people, making it easier for local businesses to connect with recruitment and support.  There are a range of programmes offered to help unemployed back into the world of work.

Our upskilling initiative will support employees within the South Lanarkshire Area to undertake training or other activity that will lead to improved employment circumstances.
